Bibliografia talloniana 1931-2010

A product of Franco Maria Ricci's love for Alberto Tallone's editions, and meticulously edited by Anna Mavilla, Tallone's Bibliography reveals to readers the seventy years of Tallone's publishing career. Printed volumes, plaquettes, catalogues and pamphlets are shown in chronological order, each with a brief fact sheet that also shows the title page and the greatness of the work that merges with the entire life of its author. Favourably defined by Maurizio Nocera in the preface as a "book architect", Tallone's work has an artisan quality, where manual work and precision are still crucially important: typography is the workshop behind books and its layout model is a combination of forms and text, the enchantment of black and white. This volume is therefore a testimonial to his impressive work, as well as the collection of what he loved to call "his paper children".
